Best Librarian Award 2010

The Management Libraries Network (MANLIBNET) an apex body of Management, Business and Corporate libraries in India had instituted the MANLIBNET Best Librarian Award. It consists of a cash award and a citation. A committee nominated by the Executive Council selects the candidate for this award. The contribution towards the development of the profession is one of the main criteria for selecting the awardees.

Call for Nominations

MANLIBNET invites nominations/applications for awards for the year 2010 with bio-data, work done and achievements with supporting documents. The contribution for the development of profession should specifically find a place in bio-data. The application sent by any professional directly should be supported by recommendation from at least two library professionals. Please note that only the life members of the MANLIBNET would be eligible for this Award. However, the MANLIBNET’s current office bearers and the members of the Executive Council would not be considered as eligible for this award.

The last date for receiving the nominations is October 15, 2010. The nominations/ applications should be mailed/e-mailed to:

The Best Librarian Award for the year 2010 will be presented at the 12th MANLIBNET National Convention to be held at Indian Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur from November 22-24 2010.
