BEST LIBRARIAN AWARD
The Management Libraries Network (MANLIBNET) an apex body of management libraries, including b-schools and corporate libraries, in India has instituted a Best Librarian Award. The librarians of Business and Management schools in India are eligible to be considered. It consists of a cash award and a citation. A National Committee selects the candidate for this award. The award is based on the work done and achievements. The contribution towards the development of the profession is one of the main criteria for selecting the awardees.

Call for Nominations
MANLIBNET invites nominations/applications for awards for the year 2009 with bio-data, work done and achievements with supporting documents. The contribution for the development of profession should specifically find a place in bio-data. The application sent by any professional directly should be supported by recommendation from at least two senior professionals. The MANLIBNET current office bearers and EC members are not eligible to contest. The last date for receiving the nominations is 31st January 2010. The Best Librarian Award for the year 2009 will be presented during the 11th MANLIBNET National Convention to be held at the Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh from 15 to 17 February 2010
